My "More Car per Car experience" with my Indica

Buying a new car is a special occasion. My first "new" car was a Indica DLE and colour was granite purple. The colour matched my house colour and the grey bumpers more or less matched the body colour.

My dad wanted me to buy a lighter colour like a silver or white so that others can see my car during the evenings and nights.

Decided against all many advises to avoid a Tata and that too a diesel !!


Took the delivery on 11-Nov-2002 from Prerana Motors.

Primarily driven in Bangalore

 

The served me well for 9 yrs and 100K kms.

Had to sell it as I would have ended up paying road tax again in Telangana

 

Dad (Pappa)

It more than year since Dad passed away.
Needless to say, I do miss him and miss his wisdom the most.

I only wish he was around to play with his grandson - Nipun
Nipun looks very much like his grandfather

Pappa was a simple person who was respected and loved a lot by everyone he knew - friends, relatives, colleagues.

He had his best days of  his career at Chennai

It was his willpower that helped him fight cancer for 13 yrs
