Memorable Walk to a Hillock during monsoon
 

It was a beautiful September afternoon in 2011.

Somewhere on the road between Bidar and the Ashtur ruins, Karnataka, India

This spot made me stop. I just had to walk to the top the hillock.

Along the path were large number of wild flowers thronged by multi-hued butterflies

Then came the small stream of crystal clear water fed by the monsoon rain complete with a check dam

Along the check dam a tree full of waver bird nests

More than an year and half after the walk I still remember every step to the top.
